Sun Coast Consulting Projects

The SFPR project is a new 40-kilometre-long, four-lane highway currently under construction along the south side of the Fraser River in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. The project is being delivered using a phased approach – Advanced Site Preparation using traditional “design-bid-build” methods; and then Design, Build, Finance & Operate (DBFO) procurement for the final road works.

Sun Coast Consulting Ltd. provided engineering consulting management and technical advisory services for the planning, environmental assessment, business case development, property acquisition and preliminary design phases of the project. Business advisory and project management services were also provided for the development of DBFO documents and subsequent procurement.

Current services include engineering management, environmental management, stakeholder liaison, railway advisory, agricultural advisory and DBFO management for final project implementation.
